Date With Destiny Alice, 28, could sense something big was about to happen when Nick, 40, called to arrange a night out after a friend set them up for a blind date. "There was just something in his voice and words that made me think: wow, this guy sounds incredible. This was confirmed the moment we met," recalls Alice. Nick proposed four months after that first meeting. "By the second date we both knew we would marry," say the bride.
The Gown "Think Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy meets Grace Kelly," says Alice of her Steven Khalil gown. Made of ivory silk, it featured a V-neck and a softly rouched bodice with an empire line skirt that fell out into a train. To complement the gown, Alice wore a stunning floor-length veil with antique french lace detail.
Dancing With The Stars The couple got a little help from a professional when it came to organising their bridal waltz. "We were fortunate enough to have Mark Hodge from Dancing with the Stars specially choreograph a dance for us and give us a few much-needed lessons, which was just hysterical," says Alice. 100 guests watched on as they danced to Harry Connick Jr's 'It Had To Be You'.
Special Moment "My brother Ryder walked me down the aisle and gave me away in fulfilment of the promise he made to me the day our father died 10 years ago," says Alice. "It was very special to me and was a lovely bond to share with my brother."
