Whether you're a huge fan or not, it's hard not to notice the influence Mad Men has had on the revival of 1950's and 1960's style. With that in mind, we decided to show you how to create your own Mad Men style wedding. You can take as much or as little as you like and adapt it to suit your own personality.

We may not have seen Don Draper's wedding to Megan Calvet, but it's easy to imagine how it might have looked.

THE DRESS
We've seen a growing trend in short wedding dresses and the demand seems here to stay, with the majority of both local and international designers including some shorter styles in their bridal collections. Below are a few of our picks that suit the Mad Men style.

THE RING
Thanks to Mad Men we have seen a surge in demand for classic style and vintage rings, many with floral motifs. Many celebrity engagement rings fall into these categories.

THE BRIDESMAIDS
Short dresses are prominent in both 1950's and 1960's style, so why not continue this throughout your bridal party. This is also your chance to feature any colour you wish!

HAIR AND MAKE-UP
Below are a couple of styles from our recent Beauty Annual issue. The look on the left highlights winged eyeliner, candy cheeks and pastel-pink lips. These are all features of 1960's style. The hair style on the right, epitomised by Marilyn Monroe is all about high glamour and femininity.
